Hard Reset NOKIA 5

First method:

1. In the first step power off the NOKIA 5.
   
2. Next, press and hold together  the Volume Down + Power key for a short while.
   
3. You should release only the Power key as soon as the Android logo pops up. Keep holding the Volume Down until the Boot Mode pops up.
   
4. Choose option Recovery by using to navigate Volume buttons and to confirm Power key.
   
5. When the Android logo pops up hold down the Power key for a while.
6. While still holding the Power rocker, press and release the Volume Up button.
   
7. Afterwards hold down the Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Power button to confirm.
   
8. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power button to select.
   
9. In order to restart the phone select "reboot system now".
   
10. Do not interupt the proccess. Wait until the NOKIA Welcome Panel pops up.
11. Success! The hard reset is done!

Second method:

1. At first, make sure that NOKIA 5 is switched on.
   
2. Afterwards go to Settings and then to Backup & Reset.
   
3. In the next step tap Factory Data Reset and select Reset Device.
   
4. Choose Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data.
   
5. Well done! You have just performed the hard reset operation.
